Introduction
Welcome to Kanknarrah Company Limited, a Company serving green and ecofriendly jute products.
Kanknarrah group started its journey from Kanknarrah Jute Mill (est. 1882) which was acquired from the British Management Agency, Jardine Henderson Limited in the year 1988. It is situated on the banks of the river Hooghly, about 40 kilometres from Kolkata. The corporate entity of Kanknarrah Jute Mill, Kanknarrah Company Limited, is a Public Limited enterprise listed on the Calcutta Stock Exchange.
After establishing a strong foothold in the jute industry we took over operations of Shri Hanuman Jute Mill (est. 1927) situated in Howrah about 10 kilometers from the Central Business District of Kolkata, in 1992 to increase our production capacity eyeing expansion and growth. Its corporate entity is Tepcon International (India) Limited.
To further expand our operations and widen our reach we took over the reign of another jute mill Naffarchandra Jute Mills (est. 1935) in 2016 situated opposite Kanknarrah Jute Mill having corporate entity of Kanknarrah Jute Private Limited.
These fully integrated mills specialize in manufacturing bags, yarn, cloth and other jute related products as per the requirement of the customer.With vast experience and dedication for more than three decades, we are a well-established name in the jute industry & a leading manufacturer and exporter of premium quality Jute products in India with production capacity of 1,00,000 tons per annum and labor force of 8000 plus workers combining all 3 units.
Our mission is to provide immaculate quality Bio-degradable, Eco-friendly jute products at the most competitive price in the market. We maintain a constant quality check process as per Industry standards and strive to ensure timely deliveries to our clients.

We follow manufacturing practice conforming to stringent quality norms, using expert technique of selection and blending to process superior quality jute through modern machinery. The Statistical Quality Control team consists of techno-commercial experts who ensure that both quality and costs are optimized. They, in cooperation with the manufacturing team, continuously monitor the quality of production. We keep a constant watch on proper maintenance and up gradation of all the machinery for better utilization of men and materials.
